CRAZY CONNECTIONS: *
- Catalina was fathered by Orange Bailey-Moon. Orange's daughter Maliyah married Trent Spynacus. Additionally, Mollie married Orange's brother Kieran. This makes Catalina and Maliyah both sisters and sisters-in-law, and makes Mollie both sister and sister-in-law to Avery, Archer, and Andrew (Thorne Bailey). Furthermore, Catalina is both a sister and a niece to Avery, Archer, and Andrew.
- Avery's granddaughter married Joey Fatone and they had a daughter, Parker. Parker is Misty and Marshall's sister, but they are also her great-aunt and great-uncle.
- Warren (fathered by Mortimer Goth) and Conner (Alexander Goth) are both brothers and uncle-nephew.
- Milo and Laurant Pancakes are children of Bob. This means Rusty (fathered by Milo) is both brother and cousin to Ivan, Isabella, and Isaiah (fathered by Laurant). Also, Rylie and Rosie (fathered by Bob) are their older sisters and their aunts.
- Daniela had a child, Kari, who married Luciano Fen. As Luciano fathered Beckett, this makes Kari both Beckett's stepmother and niece.
- Michelle married Harley Watson, father of Roman Steele, who became Autumn's second husband. Michelle is Autumn's younger sister and step-mother-in-law.
- Michelle has a grandchild, Julia. Julia is married to Clifton Humphreys, who fathered Cole, Carter, and Cecilia. This means Julia is their great-niece and their step-mom.
- Mutliple connections for Griffin and Jeanette: Griffin's daughter Leah married Edison Villareal and had five kids. Edison also fathered Jeanette. Those five kids are Jeanette's siblings but she is also their great aunt. Jeanette then married a man named Julien, whose mother is Tierra, and Tierra's father is Griffin! Julien married his great-aunt. This also means his mother-in-law Malibu is also his great-grandmother. Additionally, the five kids that Leah and Edison had? Now Jeanette is their sister, great-aunt, AND cousin-in-law. Even wilder: she is Tierra's daughter-in-law and her aunt.
- Dahlia and Rylie share a great-grandchild.
- Devonte and Luciano Fen are half-brothers, so Devin, Delaney, and Declan are both siblings and cousins to Beckett.
* there are probably many more, these are just the ones I've noticed in the very large and tangled family tree

- Lot traits. If you're building from scratch or if you choose a lot with no traits, try some combination of these:
- Good Schools (City Living) - Kids seem to get high grades and usually do better at homework.
- Romantic Aura (City Living) - makes it easier to get other sims in the mood for LURVE!
- Child's Play (City Living) - kids learn faster (unsure if this applies to toddlers)
- On Ley Line (City Living) - boosts the chances of having twins/triplets
- Study Spot (Discover University) - students will do homework faster, all sims receive a boost to skill building
- Useful Packs:
- Nifty Knitting. The knitting skill carries over from child to teen. Get your child up to Level 4, then when they become a teen, they already have a leveled-up skill ready to get an A in school.
- Fitness Pack. Get those kids ome earbuds! Have them turn on their earbuds anytime their fun is low - this way they can increase fun while still doing something else that you need them to do (like homework).
- Toddlers:
- As soon as they become a toddler, work on potty and get that to Level 2 as soon as possible so they can use it themselves
- Toddlers can watch each other use the potty and increase the skill
- Don't stress over the other toddler skills if you are overwhelmed. Prioritize older kids and just keep your toddlers fed and happy. You'll find that they'll work on movement, communication, and even a little bit of imagination all on their own, just from existing.
- Money (passive income options):
- Harvestables. Wander around the neighborhood and harvest anything you can find. Find frogs. Dig for things. Sell everything or keep a few to plant for yourself (to then harvest and sell).
- The older siblings who move out will send gifts to kids on their birthdays. When those toys arrive in the mail, sell them.
- Household management:
- In the beginning, spread out the pregnancies. This will allow your matriach to have more time to meet donors and make money. Don't get your matriarch pregnant with #2 until #1 is a toddler, and wait for #2 to be a toddler before getting pregnant with #3.
- Remember that the skills and the A in school allow you to age the kids up early. They can still age up on their birthday even if they don't reach those levels. So if you are really struggling, just let them age up on their own.
- Once you have a teen, they should do all the cooking - a useful skill to have for the sake of childcare because it frees up your matriarch, but they need to increase a skill to get an A in school anyway.
- Keep an adult child home to get a job or just be extra child care.
- As soon as your sim is eating for two, start seducing the next victim, err... donor.
- Bunk beds save space so you can still work with a smaller house (lower bills)
- Homework groups. Select a child and form a group, add all the kids to group, and have them do homework together.

This is a simplified list that I followed based on what packs I have. Complete rules by Snarky Sims Witch can be found here.
Start:
Basic Rules:
Additional Rules from Packs:
- Create a Young Adult Sim to start out with. This is your matriarch. They can have any customisations you wish, as long as they can get pregnant.
- Move into any lot they can afford with starting funds (You may move as many times as you want during the challenge as long as you can afford it without cheating)
- Find a Sim to impregnate your matriarch.
- Continue having children in this manner while following the rest of the challenge rules.
Basic Rules:
