Materialistic and mischievous Jade Spynacus found herself living in a tiny house with three roommates after her parents were imprisoned for a Ponzi scheme. She set out to improve her situation as fast as possible - quickly finding a job at FutureSim Labs. When she met Dirk Dreamer during a celebrity visit, she couldn't help but feel he'd be the perfect fit for the life she wanted to live. Though she risked getting in trouble as it crossed the professional line, she asked him on a date, and much to her surprise, she found herself genuinely interested in him, and fell completely head over heels. Together they moved into a large house in Del Sol Valley, and hired a butler to help them with the upkeep, since Jade spent so much of her time in the lab. To celebrate once Jade gave birth to Ruby, Dirk had the front room of the house converted into a full home laboratory, allowing her to spend more time at home while she analyzed all of the raw materials she found out in the world. Once Scarlet and later Azalea came along, both Jade and Dirk were reaching the tops of their careers, and Jade became world-renowned for her collection of elements.
Ruby Dreamer grew up spoiled but never entitled. A popular high school student, she had a new date every weekend, never settling on any one partner. After graduation, she moved to Oasis Springs while attending Britechester for history, juggling classes alongside her men before setting her sights on the political sphere: generating support throughout her town. She maintained a regular rotation of romantic partners, even after becoming pregnant with one of them - though she wasn't sure which one it was. When her son Xanthos was born, her focus barely changed. Of the potential fathers, only Rodolfo Roswell was a 99.9% match, and while he made every effort to be in his son's life, he respected Ruby's choice not to marry, ultimately ending their entanglement so as not to blur the lines any further. His support was unwavering as a childhood illness took away part of Xanthos' ability to hear. As her other partners pressured Ruby for something more long term, Edwin Woodson was the only one content with their relationship exactly as it was, allowing her to climb her political ladder on her own. In their later years, she softened and agreed to marry him.
With nearly full hearing loss in one hear since childhood, Xanthos Dreamer was largely raised by his grandmother Jade, as she spent nearly every weekend with them, especially while he was sick. He was hesitant to engage with most people, but Jade's death made him realize how lonely he truly was. He stayed in Oasis Springs, and chose to carry on similar work that Jade had done, but decided to explore space up close, and pursued a career as an astronaut. Through one of his new work associates, he was introduced to Ainsley Pleasant, who he later married. The two of them adopted two mini-goats - Grumpy and Jumpy - from whom Xanthos endured a lot of bruised shins. By the time their first child Dove, was born, Xanthos had commpleted all of his required astronaut training, and was preparing to go to Sixam. The journey was daunting, and he put it off for another couple of years to build up the last of his resolve. On the eve of his launch, Ainsley shared big news - that they were expecting a second child. Ardesia arrived into the world just as Xanthos returned from his long voyage to Sixam, and the family of four lived comfortably in the desert.
Finding her family boring, Dove Dreamerwas constantly taking off and playing ball at the local park. While her dad was always at work and heading off to space training and her mom was always crunching numbers, Dove was just doing crunches - and started hustling kids at the playground who didn't think she could cross the monkey bars ten times without stopping. When she got an athletic scholarship to Foxbury she never looked back. A string of failed relationships nearly sidetracked her in her first year of school, but once she moved out of the dorms and settled in Evergreen Harbor, she met her neighbor Dillon McGraw and she fell hard. Twins Violet and Slate arrived before the couple could even say 'I do', and they delayed the wedding even further until the children could take part, joining Dove and Dillon as their flower pal and ring bearer. Dillon hung back in his acting career to be there for all Dove's games and even skipped a movie premiere to attend one of the championships. The family hosted frequent movie nights with Dove's sister Ardesia and her children, and Dove only got away with slipping her Hall of Fame highlight reel into the list of options one time.
Always an overachiever, Violet McGraw ruled the dance floor in high school, easily charmed everyone she met, and aced all her tests with little to no effort. As easily as things came to her, she was also a little impulsive - which is how she ended up marrying her boyfriend Zack Volkov right out of high school. A fight over trivial nonsense led to a quick divorce, and she moved to Sulani with three of her sorority sisters. As they tried to smooth things over, Zack frequently come to visit the islands. Though they still fought, they also hated seeing each other with other people, and those feelings often led to other activities. Less than a year after one of his visits, Violet and her new baby Amberleigh moved to Brindleton Bay. For all Zack's faults, as soon as he found out, he was right there to help take care of his child, and he and Violet reconciled. They remarried, and Zack supported the family while Violet finished med school and her residency. She worked through her next two pregnancies, and after daughter Saffron and son Phoenix reached high school, she decided to hang up the stethoscope and see if she could make it on the pro dance circuit.
While her big sister inherited a gift for music from both parents, Saffron Volkov was excelling in school, getting on the honor roll almost immediately, and she was so excited to attend the prom to celebrate her early graduation. At prom, she actually had a good time with her long-time academic rival Bronson Holland but when the two of them went to the afterparty at the carnival, they weren't very careful in the cuddle carts. When Saffron let him know that she was late, Bronson began spreading rumors that she'd gone on the cuddle carts with half the class. Though her closest friends knew this was a lie, it didn't stop many of her former classmates from teasing and mocking her. Being pregnant didn't stop Saffrom from defending herself, even if she had to use her fists. Once the twins - Dianthe and Rowan - arrived, her parents were supportive and took care of them while Saffron attended university, though eventually the need for space outweighed the free child care and she moved to a cheap apartment in San Myshuno. To pay the bills she began hustling, and with her intellect she was quickly made the Brains of the Operation until she took over as Boss.
Because she and her brother were always instructed to just stay in the apartment after school if their mom was not home, Dianthe Volkov began writing as a child, and often shared her writing online. She developed relationships with many of her readers, and started exchanging messages and postcards with them personally. Her readers encouraged her to self-publish some of her work, and as a teen she got her first taste of fame. Throughout high school she continued to publish short stories and fantasy novels, and while she dabbled in romance, she had yet to experience it herself, frankly lacking the desire to do so. Seeing an opportunity for further anonymity, she moved to Chestnut Ridge into a modern reno ranch, and used the money she'd made from her books to purchase Petunia, an American Quarterhorse. To unwind after long days at the office, she trained with Petunia, hiring ranch hand Clinton Michaelson to help with her care. Though it was a slow burn, she and Clint fell in love, and he moved in with his Great Dane Zahir. Zahir and Petunia spent their days running around the property, while Dianthe and Clint welcomed to the world Georgia, Dixie, and Henry.
Graduating from high school early gave Georgia Michaelson the advantage she needed in life. Her life was mostly quiet, though she had a natural wit that kept her parents in stitches. Breezing through high school, she was able to enroll in university early, getting a degree in psychology from Foxbury before moving to San Sequoia and entering the police force. With her degree and her intellect, she was quickly promoted to lieutenant, and she met Senior Detective Simon Parisi during an investigation. They had to get approval from the chief to continue with their relationship, and once they were married they settled into a sprawling suburban home in the neighborhood of Hopewell Hills. After their first son, Berkley, was born, they quickly had daughters Willow and Clover and then were surprised by another son, Montana. Both Georgia and Simon took a few years to focus on their careers, and while Simon satisfied in his role of Captain, Georgia was more determined to expand her role. Her climb was paused very shortly while three more girls came along - Sage, Oakleigh, and Laurel - but she was soon promoted to Chief once the SSPD realized she was irreplaceable.
Growing up alongside six siblings, Berkley Parisi often retreated to the tiny office he'd set up for himself in the attic, desperate for some quiet time alone. Boredom led him into programming, where he wrote a script to hack into the Crumplebottom Servers after a run-in with the matriarch herself. After his success in accessing the servers, he tried his hand at a few more. Though he was eventually caught, his tactics impressed the various companies enough that they brought him on board to help design programs to counteract behavior such as his own. When he met Courtney Banerjee, he was immediately smitten, convincing her to leave her boyfriend and move into the San Myshuno brownstone that he'd purchased with the huge signing bonus. Berkley dominated the tech world while Courtney was able to attend art school, and later he established a start-up that rose in popularity practically overnight. The tech world is cutthroat, however, so even though Berkley was surrounded by friends and his family as he rose to the top, including children Sapphire, Jay, and Azura; there were always enemies lurking in the shadows waiting for him to fail.
Spending her childhood watching her mom toil away in front of a canvas gave Sapphire Parisi a unique eye for viewing art, and she spent a lot of time at the museum, studying contemporary works. Joining an art club in school led her to meet Watson Okada, a popular classmate who found himself smitten with the girl with the bright blue eyes. The Prom King and Queen stayed together even through university, after which they married and moved into the brownstone next door. During university Sapphire began writing a column for an Arts Review blog, which grew in popularity until it turned into a full time career, where she expanded her work to include both reviews and features of new artists. Her big heart led her to becoming a foster parent, and while she was pregnant with Jett, she adopted Kai and Cameron, who had no local relatives to take them in. She had everything, but it seemed like having only been with one man her whole life left her wondering what else there was? It started with late night conversations, as Aaron Thompson became her confidante as she expressed her frustration with her life, until it led to more. She's not actually sure which man is Raven's father...
