Dahlia Alstromeria moved from Henford-on-Bagley to a small private island in Mua Pel'am in Sulani, where she set up her chicken coop and began her dream towards conservation. Fate, as it would have it, set her on a slight different path first - motherhood! After germination, she sprouted triplets, honoring her own mother's legacy by naming them Holly, Ivy, and Ash.
The three kept her on her toes - quite literally, as she frequently encountered all of their toys spread all over the floor of their tiny island home. Holly, a clingy momma's girl, barely allowed Dahlia to have a moment to herself, while Ivy, the wild one, often had her mom darting outdoors to bring her back from the water's edge. Then there's Ash, Mr. Independent, who could not be bothered by any one or anything, and never wanted to do what the others wanted. One of the few times Dahlia could get all three to sit at the same time was during reading time, and they quickly increased their imagination. Chasing them all over the house and the island got their movement skills going, and potty training was a must, just for her own sanity. But then - the questions started. What's this? Why that? One chatterbox would have been enough, but having all three meant Dahlia spent a lot of time helping them improve their communication. |
