Liberty Crumplebottom and JC Chasez had a small wedding before moving back to the city, wanting to expose their child to a diverse world at a young age. They settled into Fountainview Penthouse just in time for Hazel's birth... but also just in time for a huge lawsuit. The management behind his fame had not always operated in the band's best interest, and now the musicians were facing an end to their careers. The lawsuit and its aftermath cost JC a huge portion of his savings, and he and Liberty were left to start over.
Liberty got to work on screenplays and painting, while JC started over, climbing the charts as a musician. Luckily, his fans continued to support him, and we spent his weekends on stage, while allowing him to spend his weekdays with Hazel and new twins Stevie and Andrew, and he was able to care for the aging cat Bond as he reached the end of his ninth life. Becoming a bestselling author, Liberty brought in large sums of royalties, often §20,000 a day, while JC brought in §12,000 per concert each weekend, as well as his own royalties for licensing his music. Their daughter Hazel began to show musical aptitude as well, taking up the violin, while Stevie and Andrew took up painting. Andrew is still holding out for that elusive masterpiece, painting portraits of their new cats Patches and Ninja, while Stevie enjoyed making smaller pop art paintings and selling them on her Plopsy shop. |
