Millionaire Gold Digger1/28/2022 It was watching Kelsey Impicchiche that finally motivated me to do the 100 Baby Challenge, so of course it would be her Millionaire Gold Digger challenge that has inspired me to attempt it at some point. This one might even be easier to mix into my normal gameplay, as it would spawn a lot of extra children to play later!
Okay let's face it, I probably won't do it that way, but I may select one of the ladies in the lineage and start a new save with them. Perhaps one of the sims that I don't choose as my main sim. Who knows. Or maybe I'll finally finish the damn 100 Baby and I'll use my last born girl in that? I do know that I'll steal a tip from her and create a club with single men! 100 Baby Challenge4/13/2021 So after watching Kelsey's 100 Baby Challege, I finally decided it was time to do it myself. Once I remembered that I had a bluetooth keyboard plugged into my PS4, it was a no-brainer.
You see, I'm a PC Simmer. I downloaded Sims4 on the PS4 when it was the free game for PS Plus members but I honestly didn't think I was ever going to use it. What was the point, when I had a game going on my PC that goes back for least 13 generations at this point? I did attempt to start the challenge once. In order to do so, I had to plan ahead to turn off or remove my script mods for MCCC and WW. I have a long lifespan using MCCC, plus child support, and then some of the WW settings would have made pregnancy easier with a lower romantic relationship. Basically, three major things that would have given me a huge advantage, and that's just not the way to play the challenge! I gave up after the second kid because I got tired of disabling and re-enabling the mods each time I wanted to play. BRAINWAVE! Why not just do the challenge on my PS4 version? No mods, no added lag from all the CC, plus I can still play as if I am on the PC since I have the keyboard and mouse. On top of that, all I have is Base Game, so it eliminates the need to check all the extra rules for the challenge (I have since added Island Living). Bingo. Time to play! Screened-in Porch Series6/25/2020 As soon as Peacemaker released his Screened-in Porch Series, I knew my world was changing. There are two cabins in Granite Falls to which I recently added the screened door from Island Living but I am definitely about to update those and then add these windows. Maybe I'll re-do some of my Sulani builds too? I'm not sure. I like using the open-air windows that come with Sulani, it just seems like the kind of place that should never have glass/screens in the windows. You know... it would be interesting if rain got in the windows if they didn't have awnings. Like you're just sitting there minding your business, playing the game, your sims goes to make dinner but - what's this? There are puddles in the house because the window over the sink has now awning? Oh no! I think there are a few houses I have in mind where I can makes the screens work... though I am seriously excited to tackle all the cabins in Granite falls. Those are just SCREAMING for screen doors. They always reminded me of the cabins in this one mountain resort I frequent (location classified) and I can't think of a better way to replicate that than by using Peacemaker's Screens! Building Projects5/1/2020 I can't guarantee that I'll update this post or even commit to these projects, but, here are some things I have on my mind.
I'm not really a builder. Well, that's a lie. I'm not a builder that really shares her builds. But I want to try. Especially with Tiny Living. And just in general. Much like my writing, I always did it primarily for myself, but once I saw people downloading the house I initially made for my 100 Baby Challenge (I built it on PC because that was easier for me, uploaded to my gallery, jumped on my PS4 to download it for myself)... I decided to share more. I have some other random ideas but I'd especially like to tackle Britechester:

As you might have noticed, my name is Melissa, and I've been playing Sims since The Sims was even a thing. We won't discuss how old I was at the time I first played Sims 1, let's just say that I was not a child.
